Have similar model before and really like the simple features. Love cooking with gas, reliable stove cooks evenly and overall like the look. Compared to past models iron grates aren't as heavy duty. Lighter weight is okay but looks a little second rate, unsure how they will hold up. Along same lines, the decals showing heat indicators for the range tend to wear off over time and repeated cleanings. Need something more durable as we clean after each use and from experience seen how they can wear off leaving you with a bad look not to mention missing important indicators.

Brand new in our brand new home, the sides of the oven door were bend, called and they said when the builder installed it they pulled up on the handle and it bent the door and I must contact builder

High-Pitched Whine

We really enjoy using gas to cook with and this range is great! So why the 1-star? We have had it for nearly two months after moving into a new build. Every time we use the oven there is a high-pitched whine that is quite annoying and does not go away until the gas to the oven is stopped. The whine is not heard with the stove burners. The email requesting a review prompted me to look into potential causes/solutions. It seems likely that the gas pressure regulator in the oven is defective. We were not able to have the range inspected as the builder installed it just before closing citing concerns of contractors walking off with the unit. We

This is the first Frigidaire stove I've owned as well as the first slide-in gas range. I love cooking with a gas stove and at first the oven worked perfectly. But then, it seemed that it was running too hot and cookies were burning after only being in the oven for 5 or 6 minutes. Before adjusting or recalibrating the temperature, we read the manual and learned that nothing should be blocking the vent (which is located in the back of the middle grate). Because this stove does not have a middle flame--just a grate, I had started to keep my tea kettle on the middle grate in the back. I didn't realize it was blocking the circulation of air and causing a temperature fluctuation. I moved the tea kettle off of the stove, and the problem was instantly solved!
