White splotches all over screen in dark scenes

i purchased this tv about a month ago. extremely pleased at first impression. it wasn't until watching a movie with a very dark scene that i noticed white splotches all over the screen! later watching a movie with the black letterbox bars on top and bottom, my eyes are instantly drawn to one of the splotches in the top right corner and it is very distracting! had samsung come out under a warranty claim and was told "this is normal, there is nothing wrong with it" are you kidding me!? i will never, ever purchase another samsung tv again.

purchased the tv at a local electronics store. upon putting up, immediately noticed light cloudy spots throughout the tv. tech came out, blamed the led lights on a black screen but you could see these clouds even with the color picture. after much complaining and replacement was delivered. now the clouds were in a completely different section of the tv screen. as an added bonus, the volume would increase and decreasing unexpectedly. so frustrated! by the way this is my 5th samsung tv over the past 15 years and never experienced this....

I upgraded from an LG SUHD 65' and it's a massive upgrade. The tv is amazingly smart and always keeps the best picture possible with the intelligent mode. Game Mode is a little meh, but only because it ALWAYS blacks the screen when going from game mode on to off back to on when going from game to game on Xbox Series X. The app selection is larger and greater than the WebOS LG app store. Connecting my Samsung TV to my Google assistant was extremely easy and made voice controls a breeze. Ambient Mode is the greatest thing ever. I leave it on during the night as a light source for midnight snacks and I love the soft background music it plays. Such a great deal and worth every penny.
