- rear speakers are wired to that small blank box which plugs into an outlet therefore wires r still involved + because it has this small black box u dont have to use aa batteries replacing all the time - rear speakers could use more juice to them, the sound is not high watt and rear speaker volume control is not available + when speaker volume is put on loud rear speakers do well + no disconnection so far + alexa works great and links amazon stuff great + sound bar itself it awesome sound quality - tv arc hdmi that goes from bar to tv i noticed a delay so lip sync on screen to bar audio was off but does well with optical an wifi connected audio + bass works too good haha - i love bass but those who dont this unit doesnt have volume bass reduction enough to almost minimize to non

i have collectively spent over 8 hours with samsung trying to sort out the issues with this soundbar. firstly, when playing sound through the tv apps the sound cuts in and out every few seconds. secondly, when my xbox is connected directly to the tv i get audio delay when dolby atmos settings are applied. i have to connect the xbox directly to the soundbar. the earc is not doing its job because it is meant to allow sound to transfer to the soundbar without issues. the audio has started to cut in and out on the xbox. i have reset the soundbar multiple times. changed the hdmi cables etc. i had to take it back once and i have just been told that i need to take it back again! given the poor reliability, i will be purchasing a different soundbar.

as i have read reviews one subject keeps coming up . it seems that the rear sound is not loud enough for the system. i thought that the volume control identified as volume , would control the volume to each speaker for individual control. it is to be found at the circle with volume up at the top and volume down at the bottom of the circle . then you can cycle through and adjust each part ,front or back to your needed level. after i found out how to adjust the sound correctly everything fell right into place with great sound with all the volume i needed for a real rich sound . remember you can with the over all volume control raise the volume to as loud as you need which raises the over all volume to the entire system.

i replace my 17yr old bose lifestyle 35 system with this as the main bose unit finally failed, and what a downgrade this was... the sound of the rear speakers is practically non-existent. you can barely hear them if you're inches away from them - the sound from the main soundbar completely covers the one from the rear ones even though they're almost 30 feet apart. the "surround sound" advertised is a joke.
